What we can show you is Aimee’s twenty-five years in the industry, the demand from salons who can’t find good stylists, and a straightforward commitment: you’ll finish this course with a job. No learner is left behind here. That’s not a slogan, it’s how the assessment works.
Built to walk you into work.
Good stylists are hard to find, and salons around Kilkenny already say so. Every student leaves this course with eighteen months of real, hands-on client experience, not years of sweeping floors. We’re working toward formal accreditation, so the training counts on paper the way it already counts in the chair. Aimee works with you on where you land next, whether that’s here, with a salon she knows, or wherever you want to take it.
Long before there was an Academy.
Aimee has been training hairdressers since she qualified herself at twenty. In the salons she worked in, the senior stylists didn’t want to do it: training happened after hours, six in the evening until eleven at night, often unpaid. She did it anyway, because she was the only one enthusiastic enough to want to.
Roughly twenty people learned their craft that way, in the gaps around the working day. This Academy is that same instinct, given proper structure and proper hours.
Someone in your corner on the money side.
Aimee will help you work out what to ask for. What you’re worth, how to negotiate it, what a fair arrangement looks like. Her words: “I’ll help them out with the business side of things, how much they’re going to ask for.” That’s mentorship from someone who has been on both sides of that conversation for twenty-five years.

Plenty of graduates will want to stay local, and there’s work here. Aimee knows most of the salons in the area and visits them regularly. If you want Dublin, London, or further, the training travels with you.
